Hello. There's not that much to say about me. I'd had MEN2a, and at this point I have to look out for myself. I don't quite understand if I am cured of this illness, or if it will return. Mary (in this group) tells me that I will need to have regular checkups for all of the types of illnesses that MEN2a can cause. I've had MIBG treatment to my bones because of Pheo, and I've had MTC, and I still have something called high Calcitonin. Mary says she has this also, and that it has to be watched on a regular basis. Right now, I'm catching up on work and my life after being sick for so long. I'll try to be more active in the group in the future.
Thanks to all of you who have been supportive of me. I want you to know that I would have considered giving up if it hadn't been for knowing that the rest of you are not planning on giving up.
